All shipping rates are based on weight and destination. If you live in Sault Ste, Marie or surrounding area, you can purchase online and choose to pick up in our store located at the Station Mall in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
How much will it cost to ship my parcel?
The shipping cost for your parcel is based on the weight and where your parcel is being shipped to. Once you are ready to checkout, the appropriate delivery option will automatically appear. Please note that for international orders, duties and taxes will be extra. Currently we accept, Visa, MasterCard and PayPal as methods of payments. See all options in full detail below.
For domestic (Canada) orders we offer low cost shipping through Canada Post. As well, if you spend $150 or more before taxes, shipping is FREE! For customers in the Sault Ste. Marie and surrounding area you may also choose to shop online and pick up in our store up to 7 days after placing your order! Check out the details below.

Store Pickup: For customers in the Sault Ste. Marie area you can choose to shop online and pick your parcel up at a later time that is more convenient for you! Simply pay for your parcel online over our secure site and we will pack and hold your purchase at our location in the Station Mall for you to pick up. Refunds are not given with this option; if unhappy with your purchase you will receive a store credit or an exchange.
Weight Based Shipping: For all other purchases your order is based on weight and where your parcel is being shipped to. Your order will be shipped to you VIA Canada Post Expedited. Transit time is typically 1 to 7 business days, with delivery Monday-Friday and comes with tracking.
We're pleased to offer international shipping options as well! With our Canada Post options, shoppers can enjoy reasonable shipping rates and expect delivery within 7 to 12 business days, with delivery Monday-Friday. All shipments are based on weight and destination. Please allow up to 7 business days for processing prior to shipping. Once shipped, an email will be sent to you tracking information if any is available.
What about duties, customs, and additional fees?
Please be aware that all international orders, no matter which shipping option is used, may be subject to additional duties, import taxes, or brokerage or customs fees upon delivery. These fees are calculated by customs officials, and are difficult to estimate prior to shipment. While we take steps to minimize or eliminate the cost of importing for our customers, we cannot provide inaccurate information to customs officials. Please also be aware that delays in customs are becoming increasingly common. Packages may take longer to get to international destinations, and unfortunately, we cannot control or prevent this type of delay.
Local In-Store Purchases: We will gladly accept returns of any regular priced item within 14 days of purchase with an original receipt for an exchange or in-store credit. Items must be in their original state: unwashed, unworn, unaltered, and must have all tags attached. All sale items are final and non-returnable. There are no cash, debit or credit card refunds for any local purchases.
Out of Town & International Purchases: For all out of town & international online purchases through hilltribeontario.com, within 30 days of receipt of your order, you may return any item, in new condition, to Hilltribe Ontario for a refund, store credit (gift certificate), or exchange. Sale merchandise may be returned for an exchange or store credit only. Items must be in their original state: unwashed, unworn, unaltered, and must have all tags attached and with original receipt.
Shipping fees are not refundable except in the case of incorrect or damaged merchandise. In this case, please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
You will be responsible for the cost of return shipping. If you are making an exchange Hilltribe Ontario will pay the postage to send the exchanged items back to you. We recommend that you purchase delivery confirmation for your return package, to ensure your package arrives to us safely.
Returns & exchanges will be processed within one week of our receipt of the items. You will receive e-mail notification when your return/exchange is complete.
