Are your products ethically sourced?
Where does your sage come from?
Our cleansing herbs are harvested in Southern California and northern Baja by selected Indigenous companies that employ people within their community. We choose these suppliers because they support their local communities and also respect their customs and traditions.
This wild sage is harvested by individual pickers (there is no big cultivation nor farms involved). This ensures an ethical harvest which leaves enough plants to self-populate the following year.
The loose sage is sent to us bulk and sticks are hand bundled and wrapped by our suppliers, then shipped to us where we package on-site.
When seasonably available we also provide locally grown & harvested sage and sweetgrass supplied by an indigenous family from Garden River in Northern Ontario.
